Why wear this strap? Wearing this strap may be recommended if you are suffering from iliotibial (IT) band syndrome to help you get back into sport (basketball, football, handball, tennis, badminton, running, trail running, gymnastics, judo). It is easy to put on and has supple fabric and a shape designed to suit your knee and keep you comfy.
What is IT band syndrome? The iliotibial band is a wide, fibrous strip of tissue that runs down the outside of your thigh. The role of the band is to stabilise and strengthen the lateral compartment of your knee. The tell-tale sign is pain on the outside of your knee when running.
